At Baylor University Medical Center, Marilyn excelled in neuro-vascular care for five years, rising to the role of Charge Nurse and earning a Critical Care certificate, a distinction held by few. She then transitioned to high-risk antepartum/ob-gyn nursing before specializing in wound care, where she has served as lead RN for eight years.
Marilyn’s hallmark is her profound connection, compassion, and empathy for her patients, earning their trust and loyalty. She brings a holistic approach to patient care, focusing not only on healing wounds but also on nurturing relationships.
Since joining WoundX in September 2023, Marilyn has found a professional home that aligns with her values of excellence and compassion.

Josh Brown is a dedicated licensed vocational nurse with nearly six years of experience in various healthcare settings. Born and raised in East Texas as a homeschooled child alongside two brothers and two sisters, Josh hails from a family deeply committed to community service. Two of his brothers have served in the military, while Josh, his mother, and sister all embarked on a journey to nursing school together, culminating in their graduation in 2018.

He has worked in diverse settings including neuro critical care, acute inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health, and travel nursing during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
